Prevention and supervision of elderly falls

This web application was designed and developed at the request of a team active in the elderly care field, aiming to prevent, monitor, and manage the risk of falls among seniors. In the initial version, user registration and login were enabled. Users can assess the fall risk of their elderly relatives through a multi-stage questionnaire risk calculator. The questionnaire is designed such that each response is assigned a specific score, and the final result is calculated with high accuracy. Additionally, the history of all risk assessments is saved and accessible to the user.

In addition to the software platform, this project includes a dedicated hardware wristband developed by the hardware team. If an incident occurs, the wristband can connect to the platform and record the exact date and time of the fall. Future versions will add features such as connecting the system to the older person's relatives and contacting them automatically.

This project is a successful example of the combination of software and hardware technology in order to improve the quality of life of the elderly, which has been developed with a focus on user-friendliness, accuracy in calculations and smart capabilities. It is worth mentioning that this idea won the third place of the best designs in the festival of technological designs for the development of products and services for the elderly.
